Elena gushes about TV again
Just watched the episode "Queen's Gambit" of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

OMG. Best episode yet. I'm just totally in love with this show. I know a couple people have said that it feels like the TV show doesn't really know where its going, like Lost. I think that, in THIS context? It makes sense that it feels like the future is uncertain. The reason I can't really stand Lost is because it SHOULD make sense, in my opinion.

In the Terminator series, we're playing games with time and the future. We're not supposed to know what is going to happen..

At the same time? "Queen's Gambit" showed expert use in tying together characters from previous episodes of the series, and gave homage to characters from the movies. There's also a lot of discussion/narration about humanity/human nature, which is often tied in with very pertinent imagery. I'm just... OMG. Its great. <3 <3 <3.

AND!! It left on one of the most frustrating cliffhangers I've seen in a long time. OMG!!

Makes me wish I saw the next episode Monday on FOX. Its called "Dungeons and Dragons". Mwa!

I love the decrepit playset in the backyard of where theyre staying. Very important kind of imagery to me, in reference to T2. I'm more of a T1 fangirl myself! As 80s a that movie was.

Then there is the fact that its a TV show where there are girls using big fucking guns. That is kind of hot.

Like I said to a friend of mine, this show reminds me of Galaxy Quest because it is obvious that it is written by very intelligent, devoted fans of the original movies. Specifically, the original first two movies :) I love the fact that the show essentially tells T3 to go fuck itself!!!

"It could become SkyNet." "It could also become Pong."

"I call shotgun." "I call nine millimeter."

"That is kind of hot."

There's no "kind of" about it :)

Behold, the very best thing (from a deluge of good things) about Farscape:

Ahhh, Aeryn Sun, how I miss thee...

I really liked her in the first episode when she smacked Crichton around. Hahaha!

I particularly liked last nights episode. It really was the best one so far. I did not care for the first episode to much cause it seemed kind of week despite the presence of bad ass women. As it has gone on though it is getting really good.

I was told the next episode is superior. :) its good to know that, seeing that I like what a lot of people arent as impressed with, I'll be blown away when I see it.
